Mühle-Glashütte in close touch with the market

On 15 and 16 April the second conference of the Mühle specialist retailers took place in Glashütte. Items on the agenda included the product and brand developments of the past year as well as the future prospects of the Mühle-Glashütte brand. The advisory board was established last year at Hanse Sail in Rostock.
The location for the conference was the company's HQ in Glashütte, where the participants were given a tour of the production facilities together with information about present and future technical developments. Chairman Hans-Jürgen Mühle provided insights into the history of this company with its rich traditions.
The specialist advisory board is highly important to the family owned company. Mühle maintains close contacts with its specialist retailers because it believes that this is the only way in which the company's philosophy can be communicated and put into practice. This cooperation with specialist retailers makes an important contribution to ensuring that company decisions and product developments are in line with customer requirements.
Online sales securely designed
Mühle makes a major effort to involve its specialist retailers in the company's current operations. As a result participants were able to play an active role in the discussion of the special promotion on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the S.A.R. Rescue Timer. The subject of 'Sales through the new media' was also a major topic.
The company's aim is to develop an effective long-term e-commerce strategy which will implement online sales exclusively through the Mühle network of authorised retailers. This will ensure that customers are advised and supported solely by competent specialist dealers.
"This year, too, the meeting of the specialist retailer advisory board was a highly informative event with a lot of interesting discussions and valuable ideas, which we will incorporate into our corporate strategy", commented CEO Thilo Mühle at the end of the two-day conference. "The next time we meet it will continue to be our aim to develop further the great potential of the Mühle-Glashütte brand in close cooperation with the advisory board of specialist retailers."
